POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched in the face at a fast food takeaway.
The incident happened between 2am and 3am on Tuesday at Kens Fried Chicken in Guildhall Walk, Portsmouth.
The 30-year-old victim was with friends when he was approached by another man who then punched him.
He fell to the floor after the blow and suffered a suspected fractured jaw.
The attacker is described as white, in his mid twenties and 5ft 10ins tall.
He is of slim build with shoulder length dark brown wavy hair and was wearing dark clothing.
PC Matthew Curson from the Eastern Investigations Team said: “Were you in Kens Fried Chicken between these times? Did you see anyone matching this description in Guildhall Walk?
"Furthermore, did you witness this assault? Please call us in confidence on 101 quoting 44160052233.”
