FIREFIGHTERS from across Hampshire have been tackling a major house blaze.

They were called out to a property in Plain Farm Lane, in East Tisted, near Alton at around 10am to a fire which involved two outbuildings and the main two storey house.

Firefighters used two hoses, two foam jets, two jets and 10 breathing apparatus to tackle the flames, which it took more than two hours to put out.

Two crews attended from Alton and single engines came from Eastleigh, Alresford, Petersfield, Rushmoor and Bordon.

It is not believed anyone had to be rescued from the property and no-one was hurt.
