CROWDS descended on a Southampton pub as it marked its first anniversary since reopening.
The Frog and Frigate hosted the bash to mark its first "birthday" since reopening, having been lovingly restored by its new landlords.
Derek and Lorraine Gardener were expecting "froggers" from as far afield as Canada to expect the event last night.
The couple previously owned the pub for ten years before having to close in 2009 and it became famous for its live music nights, table dancing and packed bar.
When they were able to take it back on last year the launch night attracted scores of fans from across the globe – with one man even camping out on the streets having driven from Austria to see the pub back in action.
Since then the venue has gone from strength to strength, hosting regular music events for local acts and gaining more than 3,000 followers on Facebook, becoming popular for frog merchandise and their YouTube channel The Lily Pad Sessions.
