A WOMAN was knocked to the ground, kicked and racially abused in a terrifying attack.
The 41-year-old victim had just got out of a car when she was subjected to the unprovoked assault.
It happened sometime between 8.45pm and 9.15pm on Saturday in Kettering Avenue near to the M275 in Portsmouth.
She got out of a blue Toyota Yaris when she was pushed from behind on to the ground.
She was then kicked and punched in her back and shoulder while being subjected to racist abuse.
The woman suffered a sprained shoulder in the attack, while the man who attacked her ran off along Kettering Terrace in the opposite direction of the M275.
Police want anyone who saw the attack to call them on 101, quoting 44160102261.
