A MAN was attacked by three men on a busy road in Southampton.
The victim, who is in his 30s, suffered a head injury as a result of the attack that happened at 11.50am yesterday on the Northam Road railway bridge near to St Mary’s stadium.
Forensic officers have sealed off the area whilst police investigators examine the scene.
Paramedics were called to the scene to treat the victim who was described as being ‘conscious’.
Meanwhile police have launched an appeal to find those responsible.
A search is currently underway to find three youths who were described as black and wearing hoodies.
The investigation is in its early stages and police were not able to confirm whether any weapons had been used.
The trio were last seen running from the scene in Northam.
