FOUR people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a teenage boy was stabbed in a flat.
The 17-year-old was rushed to hospital after the alleged aggravated burglary happened at a flat on Lydgate Road in Thornhill, Southampton.
Police say four people forced their way into the building and assaulted the teenager, who is from London, leaving him with a “puncture wound” on his left thigh.
Following the incident a 16-year-old boy, a 20-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, all from Southampton, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated burglary.
They all remain in custody and are helping police with their investigation.
The victim has since been released from hospital and a 48-year-old man who was also in the flat at the time was unharmed.
Officers increased patrols in the area to reassure residents.
