DUSTY Miller (Daily Echo, April 23) claims that he is not promoting Nazism by displaying a poster depicting a Swastika outside of his Hedge End home, but I would like to say that like every other Brexit campaigner, most of whom seem to permanently inhabit the Echo letters page, promoting extreme views is their forte.

The total content of their point of view revolves around flag-waving jingoism, nationalism and racism. I for one would like to know how this differs from Nazism.

Mr Miller’s previous poster, attacking the Koran and Arabs, emphasises the point and again I would like to say that call it what you like, racism is still racism.

I am also very confused as to why, like most Brexit enthusiasts, he seems to believe that we were the only European country fighting against the Germans in both world wars.

It will not take much research to find that every EU member country was also involved and yet they do not seem to find it necessary to keep reminding everyone of this fact.

As the Brexit promoters back themselves spitting and snarling further and further into their lonely spiteful corner, Mr Miller is yet another typical example of why the British electorate will never support a vote to leave the EU.

Promoting hatred and spite will never substitute genuine politics, Mr Miller, as you will find out on June 23.
