POLICE have renewed an appeal to find out the circumstances of a horror crash that left a Hampshire girl fighting for her life.

As reported by the Daily Echo, four people, all from Southampton were injured in the crash on the westbound carriageway of the A35 in Dorset.

The collision happened on Saturday at 1.10pm and closed the A35 for several hours.

Barton Peveril student Georgina Saville, 16, from Sholing suffered a bleed on the brain and serious injuries to her arms and stomach. She is still in a coma at Southampton General Hospital.

It is understood Georgina was among a group of bikers who were riding from Southampton to Weymouth for the day.

A 23-year-old man was also airlifted to Southampton General Hospital and two men, aged 21 and 28 were taken to Dorset County Hospital for treatment to serious but not life threatening injuries.

Police Sergeant Joe Pardey, of Dorset Police’s Traffic Unit, said: “I would like to thank those witnesses who have already called us following our earlier appeal.

"I am still keen to hear from anyone who either saw the collision or the manner of riding of any of the motorcycles involved as they travelled along the A31 and onto the A35. If you have any information, please call me on 101."
