A SOUTHAMPTON street became the set of a TV show today.
Cameramen, directors, boom operators and even celebrity presenter Nick Knowles descended on a Southampton street to film a new series.
The production team had been in Morris Road, in the Polygon, filming for the new series of Close Calls: On Camera.
Knowles, star of such shows as DIY SOS, was seen speaking to camera for the BBC series.
He said: "I always like it here, one of my favourite hotels which I stay at is in the New Forest called Hotel Terravina.
"The show is being produced by Topical Television whose offices are down here."
The show Close Calls: On Camera features CCTV footage disasters where people who have narrowly escaped serious injury live to tell the tale.
Knowles and the rest of the crew were in Morris Street to film the segments for the up coming fourth season of the show which will be aired at some point in the future.
