TWELVE years ago, David Bowie took to the main stage at the Isle of Wight Festival to perform an incredible show.
Today, the late great artist was remembered by the same festival on the same stage, five months after his death.
Thousands of festival goers attended the David Bowie tribute at the main stage, donning masks of the singer's face.
All the money raised by the sale of the masks went to Stand Up to Cancer, the festival's official charity partner.
The crowds were treated to Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp and the Corrs' Andrea Corr performing Bowie's Starman to the crowd.
By the end everyone was singing along in honour of the man.
