AN MAN has been jailed for publishing a private sexual photograph of a woman and contacting her in breach of a restraining order.
John James, 24, of Station Hill in Itchen Abbas, had denied the allegations but changed his plea.
Magistrates jailed him for 16 weeks after hearing that James had continued the offending in breach of previous sentences.
Allegations of assault on the woman and threatening another were dropped with the prosecution offering no evidence.
James was ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge and also in court for non-payment of a £120 fine imposed in February. Because of the prison sentence the fine was remitted.
