SHOPPERS in Southampton city centre will have greater choice this summer after it was revealed that two new stores are set to open.

The new outlets at the WestQuay Centre include a Danish variety store and a lingerie brand.

An extension to the centre’s H&M store is also in the process of being built.

Danish variety store Tiger will make its home on upper shopping next to Jack Wills.

The shopping centre is already home to two lingerie brands and now an Ann Summers will be moving into the upper shopping centre.

Ice cream retailer Amorino moved into West Quay on July 7 and will be serving up treats until October.

Andy Collyer, general manager at WestQuay, said: "We're delighted to welcome Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Ann Sumers and Amorino to our strong repertoire of stores here at WestQuay.

“We always try to keep our offering fresh.

“H&M's extension and refit is a mark of the success of the brand in Southampton and the demand from our fashion conscious shoppers.

“We're really excited for the launch."
