A man was seriously hurt in a car crash near a Hampshire supermarket.
Police are appealing for information following a collision between a car and pedestriav.
The incident took place as the 52-year-old pedestrian was crossing the road in Andover.
It happened in Churchill Way, at the crossing near Tesco, just after 6.30pm last night.
He is currently in Southampton General Hospital being treated for serious injuries.
The vehicle, a silver MG ZT-T, was travelling on the eastbound carriageway.
PC Matt Clayton, said: “Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Did you see what happened?
"I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with us as soon as possible on 101 quoting Operation Trinket.”
