FLOOD warnings have been issued for the Hampshire coast with tides five metres higher than normal expected.
The Environment Agency has put warnings in place in Lymington, Milford-on-Sea, Fareham, and Gosport.
The agency says that roads in the area may flood with a high tide and strong winds expected at about midday today.
Coastal roads between Hillhead and Gosport are expected to flood, along with Town Quay and Wallington Shore Road in Fareham.
Town Quay in Lymington may flood if water leaks through defence gates near the Ship Inn pub.
