Air quality alert for Southampton and Eastleigh
AN AIR quality alert has been issued for Southampton.
AirAlert, a service designed to monitor air pollution in the county, said Southampton and Eastleigh were at a moderate risk of air pollution on Tuesday.
The levels of pollution are currently low but a statement says: "There is a chance of "moderate" particulate on Tuesday due to light winds and pollution import from the continent."
The warning was in place for urban and roadside areas until midnight.
