SOUTHAMPTON Docks have seen the arrival of two ships of the Royal Netherlands Navy today.
The HNLMS Evertsen and the HNLMS Groningen arrived at 3pm for a two-week training exercise.
The Evertsen is an Air Defence and Command Frigate (LCF) and the Groningen is an Ocean Patrol Vessel (OPV).
The Captain of the HNLMS Evertsen, CDR W. van Gemeren and the Captain of the HNLMS Groningen, CDR H. Sinke, will tonight host a reception for 100 guests including the Mayor of Southampton, Cathie McEwing on board The Groningen.
The two ships are due to leave on Monday at 9am.
