TWO men have been charged after a teenager died in a car crash in Hampshire.

As reported in the Daily Echo, Luke Fletcher, 19, died following a collision involving the Nissan Almera he was travelling in as a passenger.

The silver vehicle left the B1277 road near Southwick, not far from the the junction with Pitymoor Lane on January 23.

As previously reported by the Daily Echo, Luke's mum Sarah Hiscutt said: β€œHe was a dear son, brother and friend, was full of life and a great person.”

Two men from the Portsmouth area have now been charged and are due to appear in court.

Zax Ross-Harris, 22, of Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, causing death by driving unlicensed, and causing death by driving uninsured.

Danny Ross-Barringer, 25, of Ludlow Road, Paulsgrove has been charged with dangerous driving, aid and abet causing death by dangerous driving, aid and abet causing serious injury by dangerous driving, aid and abet causing death by driving unlicensed, and aid and abet causing death by driving uninsured.

Both men will appear at Portsmouth Magistrate's Court on February 21.
