Police are appealing for help after a cash-in-transit driver was targeted in an attempted robbery.
A man tried to snatch the driver's cash box outside the parade of shops on Wessex Road, off Townhill Way, West End just before 5pm on Friday, February 17.
The man has been described as white, in his mid 20s, with ginger hair. He was wearing a black and white Adidas tracksuit and white trainers.
DC Martin Brewer from the Western Investigation Team said: “Were you in the Wessex Road area near the shops around this time? Did you see anyone matching this description?"
