A SCHOOL which was forced to close yesterday was broken into with a metal bar, it has been revealed.
Wellow School, near Romsey, was burgled between 3pm and Saturday and 6.40am on Monday, before the caretaker discovered the break-in.
The school has reopened its doors after police spent the day investigating the burglary.
The raiders broke into a shed before using a metal pole to break into a front window and the school’s kitchen.
Officers are still investigating what was taken from the scene.
