COMMUNITY members have rallied behind a four-year-old boy who is trying to raise £10,000 to aid his battle against cancer.
As previously reported Phelan Jordan has been neuroblastoma.
A cancer that forms in certain types of nerve tissue that affects 100 children in the UK each year.
Although he has undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the cancer returned and is now more aggressive.
Now Foundry Lane Primary School, Shirley Baptist Church and Chilworth Technology have planned events in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to help Phelan and his family reach their target.
The family are half way towards their target goal and the money will be used to explore nutritional and herbal based therapies alongside his daily routine of Radiotherapy.
Events:
April 8 at 1.30pm- Charity Fate - Shirley Baptist Church, Southampton.
May 13 at Ride for Phelan - a 65 mile route around the circumference of the Isle of Wight. Please sponsor our team, get your friends to sponsor us or ride with us. If you wish to join the team or provide support, please contact Steve Rowe (stephen.rowe@dekra.com).
