A SANDWICH shop chain is set to open its second store in Southampton - creating more than 20 new jobs with it.
Pret A Manger will open outside the University of Southampton Highfield Campus, in Burgess Road, on April 19.
The new shop will also partner with three local homeless charities - Majesty House, City Life Church and the Community Cafe Church - to continue Pret’s national charity involvement by donating unsold products at the end of each day.
As well as offering a seasonal menu, the store will offer organic coffee, free WiFi and a spacious seating area for 65 customers.
The Pret store will be opened a decade after the company set up its first in Westquay shopping centre.
