A PUB has beaten off competition to claim the title of being Hampshire's best drinking establishment - for the second year in a row.
The King's Head in Hursley won the Best Pub in Hampshire accolade in the National Pub and Bar Awards after landing the prize last year.
In total 94 venues across the UK were given awards, and will now have the chance to be named the best in the country on May 23.
Landlord Mark Thornhill said: To win Pub & Bar Magazine's Best in Hampshire last year was simply fantastic - to receive the award for the second year running is just amazing.
"Credit goes to our incredible team at the King's Head.
"We cannot thank Pub & Bar Magazine enough."
