COWES Sailing Regatta favourites the Red Arrows will make a surprise return at this year’s show.

Organisers announced today that the RAF aerobatic team will be making a triumphant return to the ten day event performing on the event’s seventh day on Friday, August 4 at 7:30pm.

Kate Johnson, Commercial & Marketing Director for Cowes Week Limited said: “We’re delighted that Artemis Investment Management are supporting this year’s Red Arrows display. It will be a fitting end to a spectacular day on the water at Cowes Week.

The highly-anticipated Red Arrows, which formed in 1964, have wowed hundreds of thousands of crowds across the country with their formation flying and breath-taking loops and rolls.

The hugely popular annual sailing regatta features over 40 daily sailboat races featuring more than 8,000 competitors ranging from Olympic and world-class professionals to weekend sailors as well as a range of onshore events including live music and cocktail parties.
