A CAR was destroyed in a blaze after failing to stop while being pursued by police.
Crews were called to the scene on Bulbarrow Walk, Fareham, at about 1.30am this morning, but the vehicle was obliterated.
The flames were put out at about 2am.
Police have launched an investigation into the blaze and say the car was followed earlier in the evening, but was not being pursued when the fire started.
No one was in the car when it was found, and no one is believed to be injured.
