Snow has fallen over parts of Hampshire today, with a confirmed (brief) flurry over the Daily Echo offices.
The snowfall only lasted a matter of minutes before turning into hail and then stopping all together.
sort of raining/snowing/hailing all at once over @dailyecho office. People keep coming to peer out of the window behind me...

Although it may shock some people to see the flakes at this time of year, Met Office spokesman Grahame Madge said late April snow was not unusual. He said: "It's possibly created a bit of a surprise for people because we've had such a mild March.
"I think it was the 5th mildest March in the record going back to 1910.
"So, I think the fact we've got cold weather in combination with a warm March is probably a bit of a shock for people.
"This is a sudden, brief interlude but it's not unusual."
