A car has smashed into a wall of a Southampton block of flats.
Firefighters from Redbridge fire station were called to the scene in Richmond Road,Shirley at 1.15am this morning.
It is understood that a Mazda drove into the back of the building and hit a Nissan Micra that was parked there before smashing into the wall.
It is believed that the Micra was pushed into the nearby trees and this has caused damages to its back window.
A spokesman from Redbridge fire station said that there was only a woman involved and that she got out of the car by herself.
The blue Mazda is still at the scene and the area is sealed off.
The collision appears to have caused damages to the wall one of the flats on the ground floor.
