POLICE have launched an attempted murder investigation after a woman was stabbed in the back in Southampton.
Emergency services rushed to Blechynden Terrace after a 20-year-old woman said she had been attacked.
Officers arrested a 33-year-old woman on suspicion of attempted murder shortly afterwards and police say they are still at the scene carrying out enquiries.
It is believed the 20-year-old woman suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries.
