Broken down train causing significant railway disruption in Southampton
A BROKEN down freight train is causing significant disruption for railway users.
The incident happened between Eastleigh and Southampton Airport Parkway and the Weymouth-bound section of the line is blocked now.
Delays are expected until 8.30pm and South West Trains has apologised for the problem.
It says: "Engineers are speaking to the driver now to gather more information. We will provide further updates when known.
"We are sorry for the disruption."
