AMONG the criminal cases heard at Southampton Magistrates Court were:

Brian Daniel Young, 25, of Ballard Close, Millbrook, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty. Fined £140 and ordered to pay £30 victim services surcharge and £85 costs.

Karen Ann Burden, 54, of Poplar Way, Ringwood, New Forest, Pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving without a licence. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £30 victim services surcharge and £150 costs. Disqualified from driving for 19 months.

Stacey Vickers, 38, of North Front, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order made and fined £50. Ordered to pay £85 victim services surcharge and £25 costs.

Emma Louise McIndoe, 26, of Andrew Lane, Ashley, New Milton, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to stealing £20 worth of meat from Co-Op. Community order made and ordered to pay £20 compensation.

Natalie Jane Snow, 31, of Commercial Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing goods of an unknown value from Tesco, £116.78 worth of goods from Co-Op and £50 of meat from a butcher as well as £100 of perfume from Lloyds pharmacy. Committed to prison for 4 weeks and ordered to pay £115 victim services surcharge.

Abbas Ali, 21, of James Street, Southampton. Found guilty of using racially aggravated threatening behaviour towards two people. Community order made and ordered to pay £80 compensation and £200 costs.

Louisa Anne Binks, 44, of Orchards Way, West End. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim services surcharge and £85 costs.

David William Aaron Emery, 33, of St Marys Road, Bishopstoke. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Community order made and ordered to carry out 50 hours voluntary work and ordered to pay £85 victim services surcharge and £85 costs.

Kelly Paula Garrett, 41, of Calmore Drive, Calmore, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and possession of a class B drug. Curfew given for eight weeks from 7pm until 7am. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim services surcharge.

Steven Vejay Greening, 37, of Portswood Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Ordered to carry out 100 hours voluntary work and ordered to pay £85 victim services surcharge and £85 costs.

Colin James Day, 26, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order. Committed to prison for eight weeks and ordered to pay £115 victim services surcharge.

Michael James Hailstone, 28, of Agin Court Drive, Park Gate. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating, breaching a non-molestation order and obstructing a police officer. Ordered to carry out 100 hours voluntary work and ordered to pay £85 victim services surcharge and £150 costs.

Damian Manka, 38, of New Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating and damaging £5,000 worth of goods belonging to someone else. Curfew put in place for four months from 8pm until 5.30am. Ordered to pay £85 victim services surcharge and £85 costs.

Murray Arthur Webber, 53, of All Saints Road, Lymington, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating, causing actual bodily harm. Fined £350 and ordered to carry out 100 hours voluntary work. Ordered to pay £85 victim services surcharge and £85 costs.
