Police have launched a manhunt for a Southampton man who is on the run.

Mark Brady, 25, is wanted on recall to prison after breaching the conditions of his licence.

Brady is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of medium build and has brown hair and blue eyes. He also often has a beard and has a surgical scar on his left arm.

Officers say they are carrying out extensive enquiries to locate Brady and are urging anyone who has information about his whereabouts to call police.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said Brady knows he is wanted and has evaded arrest.

PC Graham Mcgee, from Southampton Central Police Station, said: "Anyone who believes they may have seen Mark Brady are advised to contact police straight away, this can be done in confidence."

"Associates and friends should be aware that if they are found to be assisting Brady to avoid arrest or harbouring him they may be committing an offence and may be liable for arrest and a term of imprisonment themselves."

Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting reference '44170115204', or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
