A Southampton-based cruise ship has come to the rescue of a sailor after a fleet of yachts was hit by a severe storm.
The luxury Queen Mary 2 cruise liner answered the mayday call of a lone sailor, who got into trouble in the mid-Atlantic.
It's being reported that the massive strom hit boats competing in a transatlantic race.
The man who was rescued is said to be doing safe and well onboard the liner.
