TRAVELLERS have again set up camp in a park near a Southampton estate.
The group are currently set up in a section of Green Park, Millbrook, just weeks after Southampton City Council threatened to take legal action against travellers in the same area.
As reported by the Daily Echo, groups appeared at different locations and across Eastleigh and Southampton, including Riverside Park, forcing a primary school to cancel its sports day as a result.
Yesterday a group reappeared in Millbrook and remains at the site this morning.

After the previous incident at the beginning of June, city council leader Simon Letts said: "We do what we can to protect open spaces but it isn’t very easy.
"We are a green city with lot of green areas to protect.
"You can never protect them all but when we have a persistent problem with a particular area we will put in physical barriers.”
A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: “We have been monitoring the situation with the traveller encampment in Green Park, Millbrook, which arrived Monday night.
“We have visited the site and are working with the landowners as we continue to assess the situation.”
The Daily Echo has contacted the city council for comment on the latest incident.
