A BURGLAR who allegedly attacked a woman in a Southampton home is still on the run, police say.

Daniel Grattan, 30, allegedly armed himself nad entered a home on Rowlands Walk, Southampton, at about 4am on Friday, June 23, before assaulting a woman and fleeing in a silver Ford estate car.

Specialist officers have been searching for him and believe he is still in the city.

Grattan is described as being white, six feet and three inches tall, and has short brown hair, a goatee beard, blue eyes, and a tattoo of a dragon on his right arm.

Detective Sergeant Nicola Smith said: “I am appealing directly to anyone who knows where Grattan is to get in contact with me straight away.

“If you see him, please do not approach him, just call 999.

“Grattan knows he is wanted in connection with this incident. Give yourself up now. We won’t stop looking for you.”
