A YOUNG woman was rushed to hospital after falling from a second storey window in Southampton.
Medical crews raced to the scene in Bursledon Road just after midday on Thursday, along with a helicopter from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance - which landed at Thornhill Primary School.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service confirmed the patient, in her 20s, sustained non-life-threatening leg injuries.
She was treated at the scene and taken by road to Southampton General Hospital.
