B&Q in Hedge End is running a series of activities to encourage families to get outdoors and enjoy nature throughout August.
The activities on offer include giving children the chance to make their own bird feeder and plant a pollinator, which will bloom in spring time.
Mike Norton, market director for outdoor at B&Q, said: “The summer is the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors.
“Britain’s outdoor space is a life-saver for those looking to entertain children over the summer break and we hope that our bird feeder and planting in-store activities will inspire Brits to get creative.”
