HUNDREDS braved the rain as Winchester’s annual Party in the Park returned.
Held in the Carrol Centre, in Somers Close, Stanmore, guests were treated to an array of fun activities to fend off the wet weather.
The event has been running since 2010 and this year people enjoyed an assault course, tennis, live entertainment, great food and a dog show.
One of the free afternoon of fun’s highlights was when the Nepalese elders sung on stage.
It was managed by Winchester PITP, a new group which is taking on more responsibility for organising the event, with Winchester City Council officers helping out.
