SOUTHAMPTON indie rockers Kicks will play their biggest show so far the day before collecting their GCSE results.
Taylor Hopper, Jamie Baigent, Paddy McCarthy, Joe McGuinness and Nathan Lyons, all 16 years old, will support punk rock rising stars VANT at Southampton’s newest music venue The Loft, Bedford Place, on Tuesday August 22.
It’s one of the headliners’ final shows before their huge weekend on the main stages at Reading and Leeds festivals. They were last in the south at The Wedgewood Rooms in March just after releasing their debut album Dumb Blood.
Kicks lead guitarist Jamie Baigent, said: “It’s an honour to support VANT at such an exciting time for them. We've been working on loads of new tunes so it'll be great to play them to a big crowd”. Tickets £11 seetickets.com.
