AERIALISTS from around the globe have descended on The Point for a two week celebration of their skills.
The eighth annual European Aerial Dance Festival is taking place in Eastleigh until August 19. Aerialists of all levels have come together to celebrate the discipline while learning new skills at workshops led by leading industry professionals.
Classes on offer include aerial yoga, massage, flexibility training, trapeze and corde lisse.
Audiences are being invited to watch what participants have learned during their course at the end of the two-week festival.
Vicki Hargreaves, dance development manager at The Point, said: “People from across the world have travelled to The Point to share, exchange and learn and we are very proud to be the cultural hub at which this training takes place.”
