CELEBRITY chef Angela Hartnett is joining forces with Tools for Self Reliance to invite people to come together and hold a tea party during the charity’s annual Tea for Tools event.
Tea parties are a great opportunity for people to come together and all funds raised will support the work of the charity, which provides vocational training and tool kits to people in Africa, enabling them to earn a living and work their way out poverty.
One of Angela’s newest ventures is the Hartnett Holder & Co Restaurant at the Lime Wood Hotel in Lyndhurst.
She said: “I hope that people will support this worthwhile cause by hosting tea parties.
“I think it is wonderful that people are given the skills to help themselves and make positive changes to their lives so that they can send their children to school and feed their families.”
Last year’s event was a great success, and the charity is hoping that this year’s tea parties from October 9 to 15 will be even bigger and better.
