A WORLD famous yacht company has announced its special guest line-up ahead of this year’s Southampton boat show.

A trio from the world of sport and entertainment will be at the opening of the Sunseeker stand at the TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show from noon on September 15.

They are athlete-turned-commentator, Colin Jackson CBE, motorsport presenter, Suzi Perry, and former X-Factor winner Ben Haenow

Colin, 50, is a two times world 110 metre hurdles champion and world record holder.

He will open the stand for the yachting company joined by co-star Perry, Sunseeker founder, Robert Braithwaite CBE DL and chief executive, Phil Popham, Jackson will announce the company’s partnership with Blue Marine Foundation (BLUE).

The charity, which aims to protect the oceans for future generations, will team up with Sunseeker to raise awareness of how people can better conserve the seas.

It comes after sponsor TheYachtMarket.com announced that the Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh will open the Mayflower Park centrepiece on September 15.

Speaking ahead of the event, Jackson said: “I am really delighted to be joining Sunseeker to celebrate the opening of the stand at the Southampton Boat Show; and particularly introducing the BLUE partnership, which I am very excited about as it is more crucial than ever to preserve and protect our oceans.”

The opening of Sunseeker’s stand will be followed by a performance from X Factor 2014 winner, Ben Haenow.

During the show, Sunseeker, whose boats regularly feature in James Bond films, will also launch two new yachts in what the company is calling a “double world premier”.

This will include the launch of its all-new luxury 76 Yacht and its Predator 57 MKII, an evolution of its popular Predator 57.

Alongside the two new models, there will be five other boats, including the Predator 68, Manhattan 66 and 95 Yacht.

This year’s show will run from Friday, September 15 to Sunday, September 24 featuring 600 exhibitors and 330 boats.
