A TEENAGER has been assaulted and robbed in broad daylight.
Officers are appealing for information following the robbery which took place in Derby Road, Eastleigh at midday on Thursday September 14.
The 17-year-old was with a group of friends when he was approached by two unknown men, close to the junction with Desborough Road.
One of the men assaulted the teenager and stole two gold chains, before running off.
The victim suffered slight swelling to his face but did not require hospital treatment.
Police are aware that there were quite a few people in the area at the time of the incident and officers would like to speak to any of those who may have seen something.
