POLICE are searching for a missing man who has links to the Hampshire area.

Officers are appealing for help to find James Jeater, who has not been seen since early September.

The 32-year-old has been missing from the Woking area since he failed to attend an appointment on September 7.

There has been a possible sighting of Mr Jeater in Brighton and he is also known to have links in the Winchester area.

Police say his disappearance is "extremely out of character".

Numerous checks and searches have been carried out in the search for Mr Jeater, of no fixed abode.

He is described as white, 6ft tall, of a medium build with blonde hair and blue eyes.

He normally wears jeans, a t-shirt, hooded tops and trainers.

Police have asked that anyone who sees Mr Jeater should not approach him, but instead call 101, quoting reference number 45170103271.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is also asked to call the police on 101.
