A NEW Forest woman has avoided a prison sentence after trespassing in a house and stealing a gold engagement ring.
Stacy Chant, 39, of Tedder Way, Totton, was found guilty of entering a house on Priestly Close and stealing the £250 ring.
She received a community order and was ordered to pay £250 compensation and £100 costs.
