EXCITEMENT is mounting at Harbour Lights Picturehouse as Star Wars: The Last Jedi nears its release date.
Staff at the Ocean Village art house cinema are offering fans the chance to be a part of the action, by helping to design the artwork for their famous chalkboards on the movie's big release in mid December.
The chalkboards, designed by talented artist and duty manager Trev Rose, celebrate new films, art and the medium of chalk.
If you win, Trev will turn your idea into a work of chalk art and it will be on display in the cinema for the full run of the film. Afterwards the chalkboard will be yours to take away and treasure.
Any family-friendly idea is welcome, as long as it's connected to the film. If you are not artistically inclined fear not, it is the idea they want.
You can present it in the form of a sentence, a paragraph, a rough sketch, a full sketch, a doodle, pitch it anyway you’d like.
The winner will be picked by the Harbour Lights management team.
The competition is open to all ages and the closing date is November 1.
Submit your entry to harbourlights@picturehouses.co.uk.
