POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses after a collision with left a man with serious injuries.
The collision which involved a Ford Transit and a Kawasaki motorcycle, happened just after 6pm this evening on the A27 at Segensworth.
The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old man, was seriously injured but the driver the Ford Transit did not receive any injuries.
Officers are really keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision in particularly a man who was driving a heavy goods vehicle who stopped at the scene before driving away a short time later as it is thought he would have witnessed the collision and may have vital information.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Hampshire Constabulary on 101 quoting incident number 735.
