SINGER and broadcaster Alan Jones's show in Eastleigh will go ahead despite clouds hanging over the star following sexual harassment claims.
The Songs of Praise presenter has been suspended by the BBC pending an investigation into claims that he sent inappropriate messages to a female colleague.
However the Concorde Club confirm that Aled - who shot to fame as a choirboy in the 1980s with his rendition of Walking in the Air from the Snowman – will still be performing at the venue in the new year.
Aled, whose latest album, One Voice: Believe sees him duet with his younger self as well as with his 12-year-old son Lucas is headlining a special one off concert on January 19.
He was 12 when he became one of the world’s most successful boy sopranos, releasing 12 hit albums in four years.
His wide ranging broadcasting career also includes Cash In The Attic and Going Back Giving Back.
Millions also saw him co-present the ITV breakfast show, Daybreak, with Lorraine Kelly.
