Among the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court were:

SHARON JANE KING, 50, of Tasman Close, Southampton, found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence. Fined £150, pay court costs of £125 and a victim surcharge of £30.

ALEXANDER ALEXANDROVICH BRAN, 37 of South Western House, Southampton, pleaded guilty to drink driving on West Quay Road, Southampton, with 93 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Banned from driving for 22 months, fined £700 and ordered to pay victim surcharge of £75 and court costs of £85.

IBRAIMA KORKABAH, 23, of Browning Avenue, Southampton, Guilty plea to possession of cannabis. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 in court costs and £30 to victim surcharge.

BENJAMIN DAVID SKELTON, 27, of Hood Road, Bitterne, guilty to breaching restraining order by sending text messages and emails. Suspended prison sentence of 14 weeks, suspended for 12 months, 15 days of rehabilitation activity, 100 hours of unpaid work, ordered to pay £85 in court costs and £85 to victim surcharge.

ARSLAN ABDULLAH SHAKIR, 19, of Royal Crescent Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Southampton, with 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Banned from driving for 15 months, fined £200, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £30.

EDWARD JOHN CHENEY, 55, of Windsor Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, pleaded guilty to taking car without consent, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and driving with a mobile phone. Jailed for a total of 20 weeks, banned from driving for three years, ordered to pay £115 in victim surcharge and court costs of £85.

Dean Harris, 48, of Sycamore Avenue, Chandler’s Ford. Found guilty of driving while under the influence of alcohol. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 24 months, due to similar previous offences. Ordered to pay £200 costs and £115 victim surcharge.

George Wachai, 19, of Salcombe Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to trespassing in Orange Rooms, Southampton and stealing alcohol. Fined £166. Ordered to pay £50 compensation, £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Jason Walker, 31, of Brunswick Road, Eastleigh. Admitted breaching terms of a previous order which required unpaid work. New requirement of 140 hours’ unpaid work granted. ordered to pay £40 costs.

Lorraine Hutchings, 53, of Savernake Way, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order. Community order made and new restraining order granted to protect victim. Also breached conditional discharge. Ordered to pay £300 compensation and fined £25.

Mark Wildey, 50, of Springfield Close, Wickham. Pleaded guilty to assaulting Luke Wildey in Southampton. Community order made. Fined £100. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

Tom Willis, 19, of Ashdown Road, Fawley. Pleaded guilty to driving at 60mph along the A33, in a section where it exceeded the 40mph speed limit. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge.
