Among the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court were:

WAYNE BUNDY, 37, of Priory Road, Netley Abbey, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £360 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £36 and costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

JOHN CHIMOYO, 33, of St James Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £85 costs. Also given a community order to undertake 80 hours’ unpaid work within the next 12 months and given six points on his driving licence.

GEORGE EDWARD DIBDEN, 23, of Hayward Close, Totton, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance. Fined £350 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35. He was also disqualified from driving for seven months.

ORIANO PEDINI, 64, of Regents Park Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to sending indecent or grossly offensive messages and a voicemail for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety. Fined £233 and ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Also given a 12-month restraining order.

AAREN BATTEN, 34, of Hillside Avenue, Bitterne, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a 12-month community order. His order was revised and now must undertake 20 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.

LUKE ANDREW WARD, 32, of Lewis Silkin Way, Lordshill, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat worth £35 from Lidl. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20. Discharged conditionally for 12 months.

JACOB WICK, 25, of Brintons Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing various power tools and failing to surrender to custody at West Hampshire Magistrates Court. Fined £250 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

ADAM JASNILOWSKI, 57, of West Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a sample of breath. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and costs of £85. Also given a 26-week prison sentence suspended for two years and disqualified from driving for 55 months.

THULANI SHAME LUNGU, 27, of Cranbury Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to causing harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or disorderly behaviour. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85. Discharged conditionally for six months.

STEPHEN JOHN WALDOCK, 61, of Sutherlands Court, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115. Also given a four-week prison sentence suspended for six months.

Karl Stuart Chambers, 46, of Station Road, New Milton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Aviva Kessell, 38, of The Mill Pond, Holbury. Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. Community order made and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £150 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Thomas Allen Wilfred Stewart, 18, of Brookwood Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to damaging a window belonging to Southampton City Council. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £520.80 in compensation.

Gemma Eileen Blanden, 32, of Sedbergh Road, Millbrook, Southampton. Admitted breach of community order. Community order to continue and ordered to carry out an extra 20 hours’ unpaid work and pay £60 costs.

Darren James Pearce, 39, of Lydgate Road, Southampton. Admitted breach of community order. Community order to continue and ordered to carry out an extra 20 hours’ unpaid work and pay £60 costs.

Philip Holmes, 52, of Doncaster Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to being in possession of cannabis. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Gareth Ball, 37, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to stealing £48 worth of alcohol from Asda. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

Reginald Avis, 70, Doyle Court, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. Fined £180. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Jamie Howard, 44, of Old Northam Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words within hearing of a person likely to be alarmed. Fined £40. Ordered to pay £40 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Jack Cooper, 23, of Heather Road, Fawley. Pleaded guilty to stealing vehicle batteries worth £70 from Cobra Motor Components. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Ordered to pay £70 compensation, £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
