Red Funnel forced to cancel sailings due to weather conditions
RED Funnel has been forced to cancel some of its crossings between Southampton and the Isle of Wight due to expected "severe" weather conditions.
The firm updated passengers earlier this afternoon to confirm which routes were cancelled.
It said that between 11pm and 11.30pm tonight, the Red Jet Service between Southampton and West Cowes would be cancelled.
Red Jet sailings may also be delayed or cancelled between 8.45pm and 6pm tomorrow evening.
However, it added that no disruption was expected on the vehicle ferry service from Southampton to East Cowes and that Red Jet foot passengers are advised to use this service in the event of disruption.
