I WOULD like to praise the ushers and other staff members of the Mayflower theatre.
My family attended the Mayflower on Saturday, January 13, to see a relaxed performance of ‘The Snowman’. Our grandson is autistic and became very agitated at the beginning of the show.
He really wished to see it but sometimes his behaviour is unpredictable, hence the reason for attending the relaxed performance.
The ushers were brilliant. They showed every consideration and understanding for the audience attending.
We witnessed this staff attitude when incidents arose during the performance and they dealt with these very quickly and efficiently to resolve them the best they could.
Well done Mayflower staff and may they continue to provide these relaxed performances to enable both adults and children to enjoy these performances which they might otherwise be unable to see due to various circumstances.
